slick question ?
can i get bigger slicks on a saet of 15x7 or 15x6.5?
right now i have 22/8/15's and they dont have enough sidewall to give me the traction i need now . . too much power for these small slicks.
i dont want to do 13's yet, i can get the hub assemblied for like nothing . but not ready to get all kinds of new wheels for street, snow and track along with new tires for all 3 . too much money

I wouldn't go much bigger, if I recall, someone on here had trouble fitting slicks (8width) on some 13s (6, or 6.5). Not sure if he ever got it to fit right or not
i saw that , but i was thinking maybe 8/24/15, i need more sidewall . my 8fit great on my 15s and ive been running for a while now. i just need more sidewall to actually get traction .
What psi do you run? I seen another thread where you said you couldn't get better than 2.0 60's. I have the same slick and I get low 1.9's all motor with 13 psi.
i was prev running like 15-16 psi . i think im gonna drop em to 11-12 to see if that helps. . . i cant even get lower than 2.0 60ft. its driving me nuts. i should be like 1.8s all motor and 1.7 maybe with nitrous.
its just not working for me any more

It's recommended not to do burn outs with these slicks. Just a quick little one and that's it. Maybe that's your problem. After you heat them up your probably at 18 psi or so.
i thought i heard that somewhere too , but one of the guys in my club told me the hotter the better. so i get em reallll hottttt. "he knows everything "
ill try it a couple diff ways , ill try just a quick scrub , and then ill try it with less pressuer and a reg burn out and see what works. . . .thanks

I also get 1.9's allmotor on my 22x8x15 MT's. They're mounted on 6.5" stockers. No tubes, 11-12lbs.
Who makes the 24" you talk of?
The 26" seems to be the only other option from MT, but that would be overkill for you. M&H has a new line of slicks, the HB series. They offer a 8.5/24.5/15 and 9.2/24.0-15 but I have not seen them yet.

i thought i saw mt with those. ? maybe i was hallucinating?
i just dont want to spend the money right now . i want to find a way to do it with these.
i have the hubs and stuff to swap them to 4 lug, just no money for more tires and wheels.

Steve, I think that's a 13" tire. This is taken from their site:
