i want to put a b18b motor in my 1991 civic hatch what transmission do i need i want to stay cable and if i get a complete engine harness will it go in with no mods. if not what do i have to do. and if your wondering why b18b i just like the motor i also have a 1995 ls integra. any help would be great thanks

As for a choice in tranny's, it all depends on your preferences. Do you want acceleration or a higher top speed? Is gas mileage a concern?

You should use your existing wiring harness and add the necessary plugs/connectors. This will be much easier and give you less headaches.

 

you should get an LS1 engine, that would be badass

 

thanks for info. but as far as the trans goes why cant i use one out of integra. cause lsd trannys are hard to find in my area

 

You can use the one from the integra 90-93 cable tranny
