Unless you want to convert your car over to use a hydro tranny, I would look for a cable type tranny. It will probably be easier. Use your existing wiring harness and ecu and you should be fine.

what do i need to convert my car to use a hydro tranny. is it a hard process? the reason why i ask is cause im buying a complete 97 b18 and i dont wanna spend more money to buy something that i dont really need to buy if the hydro works.

You will need to make a custom upper tranny mount and source the hydro lines and clutch cylinder from a 92-95 Civic or 94-01 Integra. It will be some added work for sure. That is unless the HASport EF hydro kit can be adapted to work with the DA chassis.

if you use the hydro tranny you'll need to pay extra to get it to work in your car
if you sell the hydro tranny you can sell it and buy a cable tranny
-so either way you're gonna be buying more parts....but hopefully the $$ you get from selling the hydro tranny will be able to pay for all of the cost of the cable tranny (you may even have some $$ left over depending on what happens).
which method is actually cheaper? probably buying the cable tranny. IMO thats the best option, I personally like cable trannies and don't think its worth the extra efford to get a hydro tranny into a DA.
