got done car lastnight. retapped block for bigger bolt then loctite on them. then we made a solid top motor mount. and we made a solid driver torque mount for it also for extra strength. and also threw some prothane motor mount bushing in passenger side tranny mount. hopefully shes fixed now. thnx for all the help
I've seen one that had been retapped for larger bolts crack off around the lower bolt, and then strip the upper bolt, so your repair may not last very long. It had gone maybe 800-1000 miles
I repaired that one with JB weld, held up for a year before my friend sold the car (new owner siezed the engine, but the mount is still solid).

well heres the thing ,when the helicoils ripped out,the holes were a little smaller then the bolts i was puttin in, so i didnt oversize it incredibly to bigg. just a little for the new bolts to fit, then tapped it, and threw bolts in with sum loctite on then, with the solid mounts and all its pretty stiff. well i will keep u updated if anything happens, thnx for all the help
