Ok, Well i have a EG hatch that i want to put in a roll bar in (already rolled one car ... ) But i don't live in LA or the Greater So-Cal Area. My nighbor is a great Tig welder, so if we got a kit, i think we could tackle it, but safty is not one thing i want to skimp on.

So if i have one of my local fabricators do something, is there plans i can show him, so he just doses not put in some monkey bars (i already know i want to put a bar in between the rear shock towers)

Or should my neighbor and I tackle it in a weekend? I am mechanically inclined, and i bet this is the cheaper method, but i dont want to kill myself over 100 bucks. Thanks for the help

Also if a shop was going to do this, how much would it usually run if gave it to them stripped and prepped?

This is the work of Louie at L-con in Placentia,Ca.
He is a great fabricator and very cool guy.... This work was done for sfwd and is certified to run 8.50 or slower in the 1/4...

If you paying for a fabricated cage like this 1 it will cost you aroud 1800-2500 depending on where you go Believe me you get what you pay for.

 

what about if i just want a "bar" nothing foward of the main hoop. the in the rear is exactly what i am talking about

 

can be done without a sweat! shouldnt take no more than a couple days....
