Default Car runs 10x better with cel on. WHY?

So my cel code 92 is on for evap, but for some reason, all my power/engine response seems to have returned! could my bogging/hesistation/low power be from a sensor?

Would this mean OBD-1 conversion SHOULD be in my future?
