i replaced my pcv a month or so ago and i looked at it the other day and it was packed with crap, just like the old one was. anyway i cleaned it out and removed the hose from the oil breather chamber and cleaned it and reinstalled it. i was wondering if anyone has experience with the chamber itself clogging up, what that does to driveability and whether or not it is easy to remove and just clean out. i am reluctant to just pop it off as the o-ring may be brittle after all these years and i don't want to create a situation where i am hemorrhaging oil until i can get the right parts to reinstall.
thanks for any info.
