i recently purchased a 92 si hatch with a b18c1. i plan on boosting it in the next few months, however its running pig rich. i figured since id need an engine management system down the road anyway, and i can afford that now but can afford the entire kit, could i just buy a used s200 with boost option, have my ecu socketed, installed and tuned until i got the rest of the turbo kit together?

 

It'll be fine; you just won't be using the boost side of the fuel tables.
