I'm going back to GM Synchromesh Friction Modifier for my tranny. I was happy with the Royal Purple for about a day, then from there, it started to have the infamous grind. Blah

My Fluids as of now:

Motor: Amsoil Full Synthetic 5w-30

Gearing: Amsoil Full Synthetic Gear Lube 75w90

Tranny: GM Syncomesh FM

I running amsoil right now, but it is notchy until it warms up. I have heard rave reviews on the new and improve Honda MTF (it has a green label and a white top). It is suppose to be better in cold weather shifting.

the new 07 mtf is actually pretty nice. its a little less notchy on a cold tranny, but when warmed up, its not much different from the original honda mtf.

All Honda dealerships should have changed to it by 3 months ago.
$5.77 + tax is what I paid per quart.

I put GM Syncomesh FM in mine, 2005 S2K
The trans was hard to shift into second the first few times when cold ,
and second to third the first time.
I put the GM Syncomesh FM and cant believe how nice it is to shift now.
Even warm it shifts better.
I have 22,000 miles on her.
Now when I first leave (when the trans is cold) I now hold the clutch in and really slowly go from first to second kind of slowly on the first time shift and from then on it is fine.
