If you are talking about the upper strut bars, yes.... after you "install" them, you tighten them by hand.... and then you are all set.
First of all, you need to jack the car, and have it sitting on the stands. Reason why is that you can release the stress between the strut towers, that way the upper bar will actually BE THERE FOR A REASON, otherwise you just tightening the towers already stressed with the weight.
Have the car sitting on stands, remove the 3 bolts necessary on each strut tower (front) and 2 bolts on each tower (rear).
Install the supports, tighten them down with the bolts, fit the actual bar, tighten the screws and using your hands, tighten them to a level where if feels secure (not to the point where you are killing yourself to make it turn another 180 degrees or something).
Put the car down, enjoy the strut bars. Will reduce body roll and the flexibility of the chassis during turns and such.

I'm pretty sure they have them in the 1979 Option II Catalog.

i third this. anytime you need help dude, you need to be as detailed as possible. its hard to help when your not specific. it will also keep you from getting flammed and/or frustrated that no one replies. i have seen alot of topic get ignored because of the lack of detail.

Just curious do really need to jack the car up to install a upper strut bar?
Its easy just remove the 3 nuts on each side and install them right?
My car is all stock suspension
