Default LS Turbo

Alright, I not new to hondas, i've owned 2 integras before i got my BMW. I more of a BMW guy. I just wrecked my BMW back in november and needed a car to get around until next year when i get another BMW. So i came across a perfectly good 97 integra. I race in the SCCA and i kinda dont want to quit racing for a year. I got my suspension, 2 sets of racing wheels all ready to go. I looking to boost, but this will be my everyday car also. I was looking to boost maybe 6 to 8 psi. Not much. Can anyone tell me if i can boost with the stock internals at 6psi?? Would it be ok for everyday driving?? and how long can the motor take it? I know i need al the major turbo parts, but any injectors, fuel pump, ecu tuning needed?? let me know thanks

An LS can be boosted taking into account proper maintainence of the engine and driveline system. There plenty of LS's that are boosted on the stock motor, though about 320-330whp is about the limit that it can handle before catastrophic failure. Most do about 225 to 260whp for most setups. Search for LS or Non-Vtec boosted setups. I believe there are over 200pages on that subject alone.
