GReddy turbo kit....
it will fit but you can't use the "black box" (sometimes blue) that comes with the kit. you have to use a series of check valves to get it to work. I don't konw the exact details but i know some people are running this setup.
Yeah you can use it, there are a couple of sites out there that give step by step installations. I'm pretty sure you don't have to use "a series of check valves" to make it work. I think (as far as I remember) the only problem was the manifold but the guy from http://www.turbocivic.net/ used a dremel to make it fit.

any place that sells a greddy kit most likely will sell the blue, not black, box. Why buy that though... That box is only good if you are going to stick with stock boost which I doubt you will do. It's very addictive!

hey SpeedRacerEX-R, are you the same SpeedRacerEX-R from honda-acura.net that was helping me (slowcivic98 on h-a.net) decide how to set up for my turbo?

got a question, is the greddy kit ok to use with an auto. I know, i know but i don't have the kinda cash for a swap right now... and i would like to go turbo and then just get a manifold when i get a swap done. Also i know you can buy a manifold if you go B series but what about H?? Anyways let me know.thanks.
Ajn, dude, I thought you just got ure kit a couple months back? Sorry to hear your selling it, but hope you get a good offer. The blue box has to be soldered to the ecu, the wires are just different but its the same procedure. Also, staying at stock boost is REALLY hard once you feel how much of a difference it is and knowing that there is potential to up the boost with the right tuning, its just how much $$$ u want to commit to going faster. And finally, I think 5 psi is ok for an auto as long as u don't abuse it too much and I don't think you want to swap over the TD04 to a B/H series motor because its undersized and won't operate at the same potential as those motors. I think i'f ure already planning to swap, then you should do that first and then get the right turbo for it.
I was talking to a few people and they all told me I would be disappointed with the Greddy or Apexi kit because they don't produce anymore power over 5k. They all told me to go with a Drag turbo kit because it will keep boosting from 3.5-4k all the way to redline. Are they lying?
