15g turbo on a d16y7
Should I do it? I found a great deal online for a 15g greddy turbo kit but it looks like it was recommended for 92-95 civics. Its a d series turbo kit, do you think it will fit just fine? I just want to make sure im not wasting my money.

Did you even TRY to do any research? It's pretty obvious you didn't. Yes, it will fit fine. Yes, it's a good starting setup for a stock block D series.
Go read the FAQ sticky and make sure it has everything you'll need. If it's the complete Greddy kit, it won't.

yes i did research but I dont have thousands to waste. I was hoping that someone could tell me minor details or things to watch out for, or ISSUES theyve had with this set up. Just because its for a d series doesnt mean it will all line up perfectly on my hatch. It doesnt seem to have what everyone calls the blue box. Im not sure what its for or what it does. This is my first turbo build all others have been NA

That "blue box" is the tuning option. Don't worry about it not being there - there are plenty of much better options available now. Yes, it will line up just fine - D series headers from 92 to 00 are all mostly interchangeable, and the manifold, turbo, and downpipe replace the header.
Seriously, read the FAQ sticky. Your "what do I need" questions will all be answered there.
I can speak from personal experience when I say that the 15G Greddy kit is a great pairing for a D16Y7, and that it will fit just fine. It's a good (albeit small) turbo, but small isn't a problem for a stock bottom end motor. That turbo will start to get winded right around the same point that stock rods will start to snap.

read the faq.... seriously, after all your other thread EXACTLY like this one was locked.
The blue box is the way greddy does fuel management, it's a piggyback system that uses the stock ecu. If you raise the boost above wastegate pressure then the blue box becomes useless, besides using something like a chipped obd1 ecu is a much better solution in the first place since you have timing control, something the blue box does not
