Default Koyo Radiator Opinions

Hey People I own a 00 civic EK with a D16Y8 and I am having some heating issue's that i cant seem to figure out, so i thought of just getting a koyo radiator or if any one can recommend a better radiator with better cooling.

btw can u guys give me some good sites to look for parts i already know about passwordjdm n jdmland, lookin for performance parts and body kits.

If your engine is anywhere close to stock, the radiator is probably not the cause of your overheating.

Tell us what's done to it and we can better help you. If your radiator is indeed damaged, there are eBay aluminum radiators that cool every bit as well as a Koyo and are about 1/5th the price

Have you checked the usual suspects yet? I.E. radiator cap, thermostat, coolant, etc...

while just got the car about 2 weeks ago, i already put in a aem cold air intake, and n unknown exhaust (cant drive a car without a roar hahaha) soon to be replace with an apex n1 or something thats better, and still thinkin about what headers to put on it.

yes just replaced the radiator cap, refilled the radiator hhmm havent done the thermo yet

Did you bleed the system of air?

no, dont know how.... :-(, so can u tell me how to do it?

well my friend did tell me just to run the car with the radiator cap off but he wasnt sober at the time..

Your friend is right, you can "burp" the system that way. Let it warm up too and check if the thermo is letting the coolant flow and see if your fan comes on too after about 10 minutes.
