dizzy question

Default dizzy question

if i have a 5th plug on my distributor. can i extend the wires for an internal coil, out and run them to an external coil.

Yes you can. That's how the MSD Blaster coils work on our cars...or at least mine did

The coil is just a capacitive discharge device. As long as the ECU is telling A coil when to fire its spark, you're good. Extend the signal wires from the dizzy to an external coil and connect the coil to the cap. Done deal.

I've done several of these on Hondas and other cars. I wouldn't lie to you
