Just got my civic swap done ls v gsr head.I put 380 miles on and the coil pack failed..Just to let u know every thing that went in is brand new.I put a new coil in. Just not sure if it's going to do it again is it because of the msd 8mm wires.Or could the coil pack fail because the wires commin off the dizzy cap when driving..I Just Some Other people's piece of mind..THANX

i couldnt hardly understand you, but plug wires wont mess up anything.
did you have the wires on the coil correct? you know the 2 wires that screw onto it?
do you have msd plugs wires alone? or do you have the msd cap and coil or the actual msd distributor

no msd cap its stock and yea the wires in the dizzy are in the right way... would the coil go bad from driving and to have the spark plug wires come off the cap

if the wires came off id would just miss fire and run like dook
the coil can go bad. try another and see what happens. if it does its a wire problem

I did put a new coil in and put the same wires back on and its running good.so u would say that 9 an half mm wires or fine to run with stock cap and dizzy right.Just dont want this to happen again

yeah the wires are fine. i wouldnt worry about the wires at all. let us know if anything happens. it should run fine now though.

I feel alot better now that i found the problem the harness clip going to the dizzy was missing the pin lock on the wire harness.I changed it with a new clip and no more miss fire. I was thinking about it and didn't know what to do.I was in my shop and just playing around took the dizzy out..Right as i put it back in (bam) i saw the clip was jacked up..Runs good 400 more miles then turbo....THanx for your help rick rabies....
