Default Anyone interested in a Battery relocation kit for EFs?

Well,
I have been making these for people using a smaller battery and mounting it in the crossmember.
I have the support and the battery in stock. If you want to free up some space in the EF, this is a great alternative to those big bulky ones that relocate inside the car.
I'll get some pics up soon.
Email me if interested.

it will bolt directly down below the stock battery location.
on the crossmember. have had this for 2-3 yrs... frees up so much space in the engine bay.
sorry no pics yet... will be up soon.
or email me and I'll send it to you.

The main reason for relocating the battery isn't for looks or room under the hood, it's for better weight distribution. Although it will help by moving the weight lower, it's still all up front. It's still best to move it to the back. But I can see an advantage to your setup. You won't have to worry about drilling the floor pan or anything.

You knew someone was going to ask;

will it work with B16A swap?

(please no "it should...", only "yes" or "no way" - thanks)

Maybe if he was a roadracer/autocrosser...Not if he's an FF drag racer.

Ours was never meant for weight distribution. The reason we wanted to keep it in the front was that most drag racers wanted as much weight forcing down on the tires.
The main thing that bugs me in the EF engine bay is the Battery location.
and with this, you can free up the space and run a longer intake for racing applications or use the plainer 96-00 civic intake which has less curves and looks better on the engine bay.
Email me if you want me to send pics.. I dont have them up on the site yet.
thanks

note: we are designing another style that goes on the wheel well side.
will have that ready in the next few weeks.

another sugestion made by a fellow H-T member was to mount it right behind the headlight so turbo piping can fit in place of that area under the stock battery location.
Will be working on this setup soon. Let me know if there are any other suggestions.
