Axles spinning in any gear

Axles spinning in any gear
I just installed a si tranny on my 91 four door , are the axles supposed to spin either way when its in gear, I put it in reverse and the axles spin both ways, i put it in any gear and they spin freely without the motor or flywheel spining. IS this ok ? or am i trippppin.

Yes you are fine. Try spinning both tires at the same time, should change the results
