Default Friend is having a problem w/ his car.

Okay one of my friends car wont move. It revs when its in neutral but when he puts it in gear, the car doesn't even move. The weird thing is he thought it was his tranny and got another one but same result.

Anyone ever experience this problem before?

to check your axles jack the car up and move them at the joint if they clank or move to easy then it's probably bad. also usally the bearings fall out so check to see if they are free. also when you changed the tranny did you replace the clutch? one more thing also when you put the axles back in after the tranny change did you make sure the axles were all the way in? if you set the car down then tighten down the axke nut you might have pulled them back out. just a few things to check. i hope this helps you out.

oh my bad i didn't see where you said the speedo goes up while in gear, so it's probably not your clutch. btw sorry about the parts but i couldn't get a hold of you and i have about 100 im's and a dozen people emailing me from ebay. i thought you didn't want them because i had 10-15 people lead me on. sorry i'll make it up to you.
