Default f22 crank in h22

what would i need to swap to use a f22 crank in a h22a1? found an engine w/ a bad crank and have a f22 short block here.

crank is from a f22a6. im 90% the journals will line up. h23 and f22 cranks are basicly the same. i believe i read they are same part number. could be wrong. i was shooting for a stroker.

f22a crank is indeed the same one used in h23's, as well as the rods.

it will work without a problem.
all f22 /h23 cranks are the same.
they will bolt right in to all h22 under 1998

it works. a shop just did mine last week. i did a h series 5 spd swap and one thing i had to do was use the f22 crank pulley instead of the stock h22 crank in order for the pulley to sit inside the frame of the car. other wise my crank kept hitting and rubbing against my frame. one thing mine does is makes a bit of whine noise until my car is warmed up though. i am not sure if this happened as and install error or if the crank being a f22 rather than the h22 makes this difference.

i was thinkin about a n/a engine. use f22a6 crank w/ eagle rods and type s pistons. but i been told it will be over 12:1 compression. should be a surprise for ppl when my 92 cb7 changes. is the conversion from auto to 5spd realy diffcult? i was thinkin a h22 auto tranny but not sure.

i was told that my belt maybe a lil tight as well. how do i adjust it. how much play should it have. its not super tight for sure thought. it bends in a lil. after it warms up, the sound goes away though.

as far as the 5sp swap. i just did my own a month ago. not only did it save money, but i learned alot. it was my first ever. i give it an 4 for a first timer as far as being difficult. over all i give it an 8 as far as easy on swap. but this is my opinon. only hard part was lining up the tranny and the clutch pedal too a lil effort. i had to bench press the tranny several times before i got it. if your a lil guy, get a helping hand. i am a fairly big guy so the swap wasn't much of a problem for me. i am glad i did it though. i plan on building my car passed the 200hp mark and the auto h22 just made me uneasy as it would have its limit someday.

depends on the year of the h22.

from this thread here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1232811

Main Journal Diameter
H22A4 = 55mm
H22A4 = 50mm (1997 Only)
H22A = 50mm
H23A = 55mm
H23A1 = 50mm
F22 = 50mm
F23 = 55mm
F20B = 55mm

so i am cool. more than likely my belt is a bit tight. i have a jdm h22 and according to that chart, all f22's and the h22a's are 50mm. i guess the pulley for the prelude is just a bit wider on the powersteering side because i had no clearance with the h22 crank and now with the f22, i have like 1/4 and inch or so.
