Aeromotive A1000
For the A1000 Fuel pump they suggest you to use -10an line from the fuel cell to the Fuel rail and -6 for the return.
Is anyone running this pump with -8an line to the rail then -6an for the return? My fuel cell has only -8 bungs on it so is it neccassary to do a union there and increase it to -10 to the rail?
Or can I just use the -8 to the rail and -6 for the return? The car will be drag only no street.

If you plan on switching to alcohol I would double check with Aeromotive. I don't think the A1000 is designed for alcohol. I know the Eliminator and Pro aren't, and they are basically the same design. It even says "Gasoline only" in their spec sheets.
As far as I know, no inline Aeromotive pumps can run alcohol.
"Aeromotive Inline Pumps are safe for use with 10% EPA oxygenated gasoline. Not for use with any type of alcohol bases racing fuel"
The Billet Belt Drive Pump p/n 11105 is compatable with alchy.
The carburated T-Style Pumps that are compatable are the ss series and the A2000

Just FYI...4 Piston Racing is right next door to you in Indianapolis
The A1000 is not designed for alcohol, but many people have lots of luck with Aeromotive pumps on alcohol. Aeromotive won't recommend it in print, but they will tell you many racers have success running these pumps on meth.
