Default Repairing broken tab on JDM headlight?

Well install my JDM front and saw that one of the tabs was slightly broken. Its the tab that bolts to the fender. What could I buy to rebuild whats left ?, dont have the part that broke off.

- Epoxy?

- Fiberglass?

When i had that happen to me i just went to Home Depot and bought some epoxi and it work like magic, or you can try to use some JB weld from a parts store.

Sounds good. Ill try the Epoxy, and go from there. By the way, what brand was your Epoxy?

Dont really remember. Make sure you give it time to settle while its off the car, so it doesnt break off and be generous with it. You might need to make minor touch ups in the future but it hold pretty good.

I used some epoxy and it worked like crap. Maybe it was just that particular brand though

Probally you used the wrong one. Was checking them out, and there's a certian one for plastic, and one for metal.

Ill be going to get some Epoxy to use on the weekend. Will post results on what I decide to use.

Also I found this product called Plastex. They say Home Hardware sells it so, if Epoxy doesnt work this is my back up.>> http://plastex.ca/

make sure to sand the area down a little before you apply the epoxy other wise it will break off. using adhesion promoter would also be a good idea. if you could try making a brace for it out of metal and maybe some how rivet that to the housing and then apply the epoxy. pics would help.
