alright, i don't know what happened but, all of a sudden, my corner lamps do not work. that is, the lamps on the side of the headlights. this problem also includes all of the lighting that is supposed to come on when you turn the tab that is on the stick on the steering column (corner lamps, rear lights, and speedometer lights). none of that comes on, but my headlights still work when i turn them on. any suggestions on what the problem might be?

 

I'd say to first check the fuses; then with a schematic you could check the wires from the back of the light switch to see if it is putting thru power.

is the fuse by the pedals? and how would you check the fuse?

 

I can't pull up the schematic for your car without knowing the Year & Model.
might be underhood fuse box? ?
you can test the fuses with a test light or visually check them for the center "wire" to be burnt out
