Default anybody use them...........longacre racing products?

Anybody ever use this gauge setup? It's one of the last things I need for my car and I'm trying to decide on gauges.

How are there products? Cheap or nicely made?

I would like to eliminate the stock cluster and just run a tach and these gauges.

Default Racepak dash?

Thought about this instead?

Racepak UDX Street Dash pn 250-ds-udxsr

"It is provided with everything required to display engine RPM, water tempera*ture, oil temperature, oil pressure, and battery voltage."

"By using the electronic speed sensor sending unit on your transmission it will also provide speedometer, odometer, and trip odometer functionality"

I'm thinking of getting one.

I missed the price on the racepak digital dash. If its less than $500-$600 it might be worth it. I dont care for that D200 dash. It looks like the t-stat in my house.

i use and really like the AIM products, http://www.aimsports.com/ ,

Great pricing for what you get. All the inputs you would want, shift lights, gear indicator, and data loging.

Contact user "andrie hartanto" about the AIM stuff, he is semi local and really knows the product

thats why warning lights are good, if you set them high enough. And why being able to data log is that much better. because you can set back after the run and see if you had any pressure drops or temp spikes, and were and when they happened.

Although if your on a budget, the longacre stuff is fine. I haven't used any of there gauges but the tires and pit equipment is nice stuff.

170 for those 3 gauges is a good deal, but you might have to buy the pressure and temp sending units depending on what type of gauges they are.

It's supposed to be around $650 I think, but no datalogging.

Or you could do the easy thing, buy an AEM EMS, get an AIM MXL series and hook up the data stream and you're done, no wiring needed everything will display

They are also working on having a Can bus system with Hondata. It is in the works.

If anyone interested in getting any AIM product, do let me know. For club racer budget the MyChron XGLog will work great. No need to get anything higher if you don't know how to use it. This data logger thingy is only as good as the operator.

i'd concure with andrie

you only need 6 basic channels at first for logging

steering
lat and long G
throttle position
brake pressure
rpm
speed

anything more and you get confused with the squigglies. get that 6 downpat first before trying to read suspension histograms and all that jazz.

Been using Longacre products for about 14 years when I used to built Late Models and open comp dirt cars. Still use the gauges and switches for the road race cars now.

Great service also.
