i put i skunk2 manifold on my integra, and for some reason its slower, i got the stock throttle body on it i was wondering if that could be the reason ,and it rev to 2000rpm for a long time?

 

you need to raise vtec crossover, and get some cams then dyno TUNE!!!!

vtec controller...

 

You need some sort of engine management, crome, hondata, neptune, uberdata etc.

Vtec controllers cant adjust the timing.

or this.. just get crome its cheaper.. and u can set vtec crossover on there

 

which ecu are you running now? If your rpm is staying at 2k for a long time, you might have a vacuum leak or you may have to adjust your idle.

 

Did you use the correct torque pattern, remove old gaskets and replace with new ones?

 

am running obd1 p72 with hondata s200

 

??? Take it to a tuner if you already have hondata. Get some type r cams to help with manifold.

Type r cams make more power on turbo over skunk2 cams. Search you'll find the threads on here somewhere.

i've got a gsr with skunk 2 manifold and stock tb with no tuning and it ran just fine..
i think you got other problems.. as far as reving to 2k all the time i second the vaccume leak..
now the gsr is turbocharged with the same manifold and it's even better..
recheck your gaskets and make sure everything put together right
