ive searched and searched and i think ive figured out all preludes 96+ are obd2a so never mind that unless im wrong

im doing an obd2 to obd1 conversion on mine and i just want a basemap to start with ive found them based off p13. but on one of the fourms i was reading someone said that wouldnt run good on a converted obd2 car.

im running bone stock the only reason i want to do the conversion is to get rid of the knock sensor because mines broken and i cant find one and i have everything i need to convert it already.

i have a chipped p28, an obd2a conversion harness and a chip burner just need a basemap...

or willin to trade/pay cash for a obd2 prelude knock sensor in the va/nc area

 

what system is the p28 chipped with

 

will you be able to pass inspection in VA with obd1?

 

i dont think va has emissions but any how ill have a knock sensor by then. my cars regisitered in nc and im nc state inspection certified so thats notta problem. and what do u mean by what system is it chipped for? its just a chipped p28 i have 2 chips that are unburned and i have crome and uberdata i can use.

 

take a look around at pgmfi.org for basemaps, you'll find what you need

use crome before uberdata

as far as I know NC requires your car to be obd2 inspected by plugging it in and associating a scan with an inspection sticker

if you know a way around that please let me know, because i run hondata on a p72, but when inspection time comes I have to switch out to a p14 and baby it to get her to pass, its ridiculous

i guess what im asking is can i run a rom for a older model h22 like 92-95
jdm or usdm
because u can find stock roms for them... but i cant find one that says anything about 96+ or h22a4...

in other words could i use one like this

because some where on a fourm someone sale the h22 basemaps based off the p13 wouldnt work on an obd1 converted obd2 model prelude

 

no, that will work fine. All the regular h22s, obd1 or obd2 will run fine off a regular p13 program.
