Squeaky front bushings?
My front end is creaking and squeaking over every bump. The bushings look fine but after 133,000 miles they may be getting seized. Anyone have this problem? Is bushing replacement the only option?
yepo i have a 93 and wen i bought it thats all it did replaced them all with Urethane bushing and now i get no squecks plus it doesnt float as bad as it did.

I have real bad squeeking noises, it's coming from the upper control arm bushings. I plan on replacing the UCA's here real soon so I will have new (quiet) bushings and new ball joints.
mine does the same thing except from all corners. where can i purchase oem bushings? or should i look into urethane, i was told to avoid urethane because it can crack. is this true?
yes it can crack wen exposed to extreem conditions for long periods of time but so can rubber. THer not invinsable just stiffer. Oem one you can fine at your dealerships or at autoparts stores
Been a while since I checked in, but the problem was a bad ball joint, which decided to snap right as my wife pulled in the driveway. The boot had split, water and salt got in and rusted it up. It was squeaking in a way that sounded like bushings but was actually a dry ball and socket. Just figured I would post the results for search engine purposes.
