Default Noob with hopes

OK well let me first day i don't own a Honda. I use to have a 2002 Honda civic SI before i cracked the block. LOL. Well any way i have a VW. I thought i wanted to go EURO look but it costs to much money. OK WELL "I have a dream" that i owned a turbo charged s2k. i love the car. Even though i dont know a lot but, I know a little. I was wondering recommendations for the car of my dreams. i want a turbo (BIG) (t3/t4), front mount, built motor, cams, etc... I was wondering if YOU COULD POST recommendations AND PICKS OF S2K's. Thank you guys and I am looking froward to following my dream (Fast S2K)

its personal preference...turbo usually=more power, less reliability and supercharger usually=less power, more reliability. you're still gonna pay the same amount of money for both though.

SC's are popular because of the reliability of them.

In the end it all comes to preferance.

i like superchargers they make lots of power , smoother power band, reliability and i think its better suited for the S just my point of veiw

turbo will always make more dollar for dollar, not to mention the flexibility, efficiency and room for upgrade.

most centrifugal SC(comptech/vortech) are peaky in term of power band, it's already a peaky engine to begin with, that might be fine if you are racing but on the street i think we can use more low/mid torque.

but again, i am baised toward turbo because i am coming from a turboed honda to s2k

I think you have a lot of research to do. Get your info together, gain some knowledge, then make the decision if you want to put the money in.

I totally hear ya on the "dream" aspect, but would hate to see you make decisions without the info to back them up.

A T3/T4 isn't all that "big" when it comes to S2k's. Check my signature "S2000turbo" if you're into that boosted stuff.
