Default O2 Sensor Fix

http://twincamtech.stores.yahoo.net/blcelelad.html

Do these work to turn off the CEL when a race header is installed? It says it will work on various 96-up cars but have any of you guys used it?

Thanks,
Frankie

The part may turn the CEL off but the DTC will still be stored ... I wouldnt call it a "fix" necessarily

If I was to put that on the car when the header is installed I wont have a DTC. I just want the light to be off so it'll come on if/when something else goes wrong.

**** that piece looks like it'll work alot better than the two-piece non-fouler i've been using that keeps breaking.

yeah, that will work perfectly. It doesnt actually turn the engine light off, it just doesnt allow a problem to happen. If you read the caption underneath it, it says what it does. When you put a test pipe/race header in there, that o2 sensor recieves a whole hell of a lot more air then when a cat is there. Since there is so much more air it cant get a proper reading which is a problem for the computer, so it throws a code. So that part just pulls it directly out of the flow and lets a lot less air in like when there is a cat there, which lets it get a proper reading which tricks the computer into thinking everything is fine.

I got the 02 Sensor Fix from Weapon R.
It's longer than what you posted and its
an "L" shape so the O2 Sensor is not
even sticking in the race header one bit.
And I never had my CEL on.

Not a problem. I already know how to reset the CEL so once it's off hopefully it will stay off with this piece. I just need one that isn't going to break on me cause this is alot easier than putting in an O2 sim.
