Default Header on now check engine light

First off I wanted to hey to all of you. I tried searching for the answer but could not find an answer so please try not to flame on the noob.

I have a B16a w/ hydraulic tranny. I put on a 4-1 header with 2.5" collector and I threw a CEL light (code 41 which I understand is 02 sensor error). Is this normal and how do I fix it? thanks guys

is the O2 sensor still good, did you reuse it or get a new one?

O2 sensors are very sensitive, if you handled it rough or put any kind of inpact on it then its dead. if this is the case you will need to buy a new one. did you tighten it all the way in? make sur eits plugged up?

I reused the old one, but no the O2 was not handled rough at all.
So basically all that could be wrong with it is that I need a new O2?

pretty much... because there is nothing electrical on the exhaust manifold therefor nothing can set off the cel except the o2 censor

I do understand that. I was just wondering if the CEL was on because the O2 might have sensed a difference from once being at the top Y to being at the collector. Well if thats the only prob then Im glad, thanks guys

I think everytime you removed the o2 sensor you first need to disconnect the battery, not sure if you did that or not, but anyway too late.

you're out of luck...the last thing you can try is to clean thatretarded O2 sensor with some evaporable spray from Kragen or Autozone and snap it back on, maybe you're lucky if not, try a new one.
