Default Header collector mod

I'm looking to open my exhaust a little bit. I currently have a cheapo OBX header, high flow cat, and APEX'i WS2 cat-back. I've been contemplating doing the 2.25 inch header collector mod to the header to keep the exhaust at 2.25 inches instead of bottle necking it at the collector. I know this is a common mod for B and H series guys on JG, DC, and other cheap headers. Has anyone done this with an aftermarket F series header? Any thoughts or opinions on this mod? I'm hoping to pick up a couple desperatly needed ponies on my top end.

dump the high flow cat!
Get a real cat that actually DOES anything to the car and the environment!...magnaflow or random technology!

I've never heard of a dyno graph being posted (for an f series set up). I guess I'll just give it a shot

Basically, you'll cut the the pipe off after the collector and weld in a larger piping (+flex if you want). I know with my header, piping is smaller than 2.25 so the exhaust is still qute restricted even with aftermarket 2.25 exhaust.
