Default Anyone here running the Inline Pro 2.5 Stroker?

I'll be trading the Cobra in on an AP1 S2000 and I was just looking around for some info on the Inline Pro stroker. Is anyone here running this and if so, how much do you like the kit? How much of a difference did you notice over stock?

I'd like to remain N/A to reliability/maintanence reasons, but if this isn't worth it boost is even cheaper than this stroker kit and can make some serious horsepower! I just want to assess all my options.

Thanks in advance.

Stroke and boost!
Depends what you want, the Stroker would make for a hell of an All Motor car.
Boost is just insane though and your redline won't have to drop.

But in terms of quality and reliability InlinePRO is top notch.

Indeed, they were showing the dyno sheet of the 2.5 AP1 with intake/exhaust and VAFC dyno'ing at 230 whp, 240 whp without a catback. That's no headwork, cams, header, real tuning, intake manifold porting, nothing!

Inline pro 2.5 all depends on who builds the motor.

If you let inline pro build up the 2.5 internally it should be ok. The only 2.5's that I know of that have had trouble are the guys that have their mechanics internally build the motor.

Its a nice kit and can lay down some power also.

OEM. FTW!!! But its only a 2.4 litre motor not 2.5

k24a2 crank -- 700 from honda
H22 rods -- get some eagle rods like 400
H22 pistons -- get the mahle low or high compression ones since you need the ones that work with the FRM sleeve 500

all the proper bearings and seals.

Your good to go. Haha. I think i know nothing about the setup just that it will work. Also requires some machine work to either the crank or rods.

I'm all for doing things cheaper to get similar results as long as it's done right, but I don't trust anyone around here when it comes to building high revving engines like an F20, especially when it comes to installing cranks in engines that they didn't come in!

Got anymore info on the K24 crank? I've seen people revving the k24 to 9k before so I wonder if it would be any different in a F block? I'd imagine so.

I agree. I would be worry to about the whole revving and it being a daily driven car. But with that said i think the 2.5 uses a 102mm crank. Which is bigger then the 99mm of the k24. I dont know the exact info of r/s vs them or the amount of load or piston speed either. I just came about this yesterday when i was trying to find info on Castillo crank since i was bored. He has done alot in the import world. If you didnt know that already. Very knowledgeable guy. Not some backyard mechanic. With that said. If i was going to the 2.4 oem stroker. I would prolly sleeve a f20c. get the crank, get it rework by Gary. Get some real rods. and some forged pistons and jsut go to town.

I already knew that the f20c and kseries shared alot. I also already knew people where using the h22 spec rods on kseries. Also I believe the new spoon k series motor did something of the exact opposite of this. They are running a f20c crank in a k series motor in there new spoon civic 4 door. I think it was a 4 door. Things sounds amazing, it is revving to the moon.
Heres the link.

It is a 2.5lt. My friend had the first. He made 251rwhp with nothing more then intake, exhaust and VAFC. You have to do some work to the K crank to fit it in there, its not plug and play. Also, the rods bearings are a good bit smaller on the K then the F

Does he still have the setup?

Now that's what I'm talking about! Is there any way that you could put me in contact with the guy that built the engine for your friend? I'd like to deal with someone who has experience in fitting the parts before.
