Default Fell into a small bit of cash, what to do?

Hey guys, i recently fell into a little cash ( $600 canadian) after me and my girlfriend of 3 years broke up. It was from our joint account that we made as our apartment was in construction. ( For those who care, we are working on things and hopefully we can patch things up. We are both super stressed and made a few dumb mistakes)

But theres nothing better to help you forget your problems than playing with you car.

So heres my deal, ive put some thought into what i want, and ive come up with a list of parts i was thinking about. Let me know ur thoughts, which one you'd choose, and if u have a different opinion post it up.

I might be able to spend a littttle bit more than $600, as my 22nd Bday is coming up on valentines day, so ill have a little bit of $$
My choices

1) Throwing on some Tokico Blues
2) Doing a full brake upgrade ( rotor's pads and fluid, maybe lines if i can afford it)
3) EX headswap with VAFC2( I want peoples opinion's on this that have actually done it, is it worth it?)
4) Keep saving for full coilovers.
5) New rims ( only problem is i am having a HELL of a time selling my rims)
6) getting my front bumper repainted, shaving and reworking the front bumper to delete the OEM license plate holder, and throwing on a JDm relocator.

Let me know what u guys think, and if u have any other ideas.

* For those who dont know my current mods*

Neuspeed Front upper strut bar
Progress 22mm Rear sway bar + adapter kit
Progress Rear lower Tie bar
Megan Upper rear strut bar
H&R Sport springs
AEM SRI
Apexi N1 Exhaust
Altezza grill
Sparco Speed Drives Seat
Revo Short Shifter
Skunk2 ****
Intermilano RG6 wheels + Toyo Proxy 4 Rubber

"I would invest half of it in glorious mutual funds and take the other half over to my friend Asadulah who works in securities."

That or keep saving for coilovers or get Tokicos (I would get the D-spec though, wait, I have D-specs! ).

Mutual funds, CDs, or a high yield savings account (INGdirect) would be a good idea depending on how liquid you want your money to be. If you're set on something for the car than I'd go with the Blues or the brake upgrade.

Hawk Pads/Brembo Blanks/Motul Fluid will outperform a rear brake swap.

not for 600 bucks i cant.

Hawk pads, brembo rotors SS lines and motul will give me MORE than enough stopping power.

Hey Vantage.
I got my coilovers installed on Friday, it's the best mod I've done so far.

And.. I got them for 200 cad!
Although one shock is almost done, it only cost 150 to fix.

put the money in the bank, save for a civic si/rsx-type s/ap1 s2000

basically what giterdone said..

thank god i only spent money on an intake before realizing this car has no hopes of being fast and its a complete waste of money to hook it up fully.

I dont have any recent pics. There are some old ones in the picture thread. Sadly my computer is lame now and wont let me go to photobucket or imagestation to host pictures, so somehow i gotta figure out how i can host.

Nice position to find yourself in! I'd go either #4 or #6

Hang on... weren't you saying how quick your EM2 was once upon a time?

It's not a waste of money to "hook it up" either. If people want to spend money getting an EM2 to another level, then good for them IMO. Buy a cheap EM2, throw in a K, get some suspension and brake upgrades... what's wrong with that?

thank you, so much, just couse the only real way to get our car to another level is a swap or turbo, doesnt make it a bad car, those two things are practicly the option on every non si civic,

Sounds like a problem with your Internet Browser. What do you use? Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla Firefox?

Whatever you use, download the most recent release from the manufacturer's website, uninstall the current version, and install the new one. After that, it should work just fine.

Just as a sidenote, hosting images takes a while. It's not like, Click-Done. You have to wait a while for the image to upload onto Imageshack's (wherever) servers. It can take up to 5minutes.

a real aggresive mutual fund is my suggestion. CD's aren't worth it. I would shoot for no less than 15%+ return per year, and in 20 years upgrade to k20a

ok yes you caught me I used to praise on how quick my little car was. And actually I am just very bi-polar I guess beacuse I debate everyday in my head whether to spend 3k on the dezod kit or trade in/ put the 3k down towards an SI civic. I mean really all I need is a few good videos of how good a turbo d17 is and a glimpse of speed and quickness and Ill do it. If I can spend 3k (which would put my car at 14.5k total price I would be paying for the car) and be faster than 20,000 cars I will do it. Practicality is my concern here. I thought about getting the SI civic, and I mean its such a beautiful car oh my god, but a boosted d17 is definately faster and I could afford my payments now rather than be paying out the *** for a car I won't be able to really work on that much. So I guess I am to make my long term decision shortly.. I am either going to keep this car forever, or get rid of it now. No inbetween hook it up and then go back to stock later on.
