I was thinking of switching to 16's also (maybe 15) for the added comfort. Taking a road trip to to see the Grand Canyon soon. Stock Si suspension is damn stiff.

From my experience the SI rides very smooth during road trips ive even had passengers say wow this car rides smooth so for me the stock 17's are just fine.

He may be wrong, but I doubt ALL 15" wheels will fit over the front brakes... some, yes, all no...

Anyway... I will be pimping some 02-04 RSX 16s for my racing wheels... and they will be powder coated in a bright color to go with my FBP... :D

Just don't preach it as if it was the rule. These are new cars so mis-information might snowball.

Heres pics of my car on 15's with slicks for the drag strip.

I test fit ITR 15's, Rota 15's, amongst some other random 15" wheels around the speed shop I work for, and none fit. Yes you can get DRAG wheels to fit, but I don't think this thread was about drag ONLY wheels or referring to rollin around town with wheel that have a completely incorrect offset. The wheels have enough clearance for the brakes (barely), however even a 6.5" wide wheel hits the suspension.

Because of YOUR rude response vivid 02, YOU may be the "snowballing info" that 15" wheels WILL fit an SI, and someone will go order some online, only to find out that the ***** on HT was indeed wrong.

Like someone said above, some may fit, some won't. It all depends on how much spoke clearance you have.

You are right. i should have been a bit more clear. With the correct measurements You may be able to get 16s and even 15s to fit.

Ok.. vivid 02 really wasn't being rude he was simply stating his experience with the rims and even put pix of his setup up.

Theres not reason for YOU to be hostile at him.
his snowballing comment is actually EXTREMELY TRUE....
