will it fit
hey i am new to this and jumped in a question earlier trying to help. but i have a question if 215-50-15 tires will fit on my 99 si. i have 15-6.5 konig heliums on it with 205-50-15s now. i also no 215s ar 1/2 inch wider . it looks like i have clearance on both sides.
they will fit but that's the wrong size for your car. The only cons of this are they will probably rub (if car is not stock height), and your speedometer will be off.
Just be aware that wider doesnt mean it sticks better. You can get a skinny tire that sticks better than a bigger one.

Actually, the 215/50-15 has the same outer diameter as the stock size for your car. So the speedometer won't be off. However, they WILL rub. And furthermore...

That's the REAL problem with 215/50-15. The only tires made in that size are really crappy. So you'll get better performance (and at a lower price) with tires in 195/55-15 or 205/50-15.
