missing gasket between brake booster and master cylinder? Is there one?

The idiots at my local honda dealer/service center worked on my 1994 honda prelude.
They said the master cylinder needed replacing AND they forgot to put the gasket between the master cylinder and brake booster but I'm not sure if there's supposed to be one.
Is there?
Obviously something is missing because when I turn the vehicle off I hear a hissing sound coming from there. (I poured some water on it to determine where the leak was.)
Anyhow, does anyone know for sure if there's a gasket between these two. If so, is it supposed to go against the firewall where you could see it with it still bolted on or is it recessed further inside the hole?

Uh...the master cylinder is a sealed unit for brake fluid, and the booster is also a sealed unit just for air. There's no tranfer of anything between them so why would there need to be a gasket.
They may have been playing a joke on you
