Default simple timing question

i have a h22 jdm engine and I just put in new skunk2 camshafts, i did everything correctly and did a valve adjustment. I cranked it up and the car runs like crap, lets see I am debating if its the cam are off or distributor timing, this what happened.the air filter was blowing out instead of sucking air?? could it be the distributor is on 180 off?? throw me some answers thank you

you can't put the dizzy on backwards, its keyed to only go on one way. re-check your camshaft timing and make sure that is good first.

which skunk cams are you running?

yeah, i'd say cam timing.

Ignition timing, I think your car would either sputter or ping depending if your too far advanced or retarded (ignition) Correct me if i'm wrong.

so hows it run ? crap doesn't describe much to me lol

it runs like a muscle car haha, alot of valve overlap and can not idle by itself, my friend was in the front of the car checking out how it ran and the intake in some cases was blowing out air...
