the passenger rear drum is locked up? don't know why? Can i brake it loose by putting a bar between the wheels studs and hitting it w/ a hammer? i try driving the car to see if it will break loose the rear but that only skidded my tires. ANyone else has this happen to them before?

 

Sat for awhile with the e-brake on did it? I had that problem so I just took off the wheel and gave the drum a few whacks with a 5lb mini sledge. It freed it up in no time.

Either the parking cable is siezed, or the "brake adjuster internals" in the drum are siezed.

Try driving in reverse,

 

smack the drum with a hammer a few times.

 

i try going in reverse too but it only skidded the tires. Ill try banging on it maybe a baby will come out.

 

Yeah man either upgrade to read disk, or hit the **** out of it with a hammer. It will pry open.
