This normal?
Everytime when I put my car in reverse and step on the brakes I hear one loud click noise. Is that normal or anything I should worry about. Usually happens when I reverse a lil fast out of a parking space. Always worrying about the R.

I've asked the same quetion, and I've been told it's normal. Something about moving brake parts. What ever it was it's normal.
As long as it is just one sound per initial application of the brakes when backing up, it is the rear brake pads shifting within the housing. The pads relocate when going forward again. The range of motion is very small but enough to make a bothersome sound....
Pads shifting? THe rear pads not only seat on the outter edge but also a cross patter on the back that seat in the cenet of the caliper. I woudl think the fronts would be much more likely to move.
