Is a B-Series swap worth the trouble?
I am having second thoughts about dropping a B16 into my crx "dx
" after reading all the problems people are having with their swaps. Theres so much that can go wrong; ordering a bad engine, wiring, idleing, messed up shifter, etc. Is it all worth the work and trouble?

I think it is worth it.
I had a few problems in the beginning but once i fixed them the swap has been awesome. The car has a lot more grunt to it now and it was definitely worth it even though it did cause some headaches.

Look at things optimistically. Trying to figure out why your car doesn't run right is a good way to learn about your car. It helps down the road when you need to trouble shoot any problems. A B-series swap is definitely worth the blood, sweat, and tears. Well at least IMO. Of course getting a bad engine to begin with totally defeats this way of thinking.
Let me be honest, if you're the kind of person that gets frustrated easily don't do it.
I've had a couple of times where I was just like you know what **** this I shouldn't have done it. Once, all the swap issues are resolved though I'd say it is definately worth it. It is definately a blast to drive

research research research is the key to a good swap
that is if youre doing it yourself.learn and ask as much as possible
and ask the RIGHT people.!!!
there are plenty of resources on the net...
if you got the $$$ take it to a reputable show and let them
'worry' about issues...

I really believe it is well worth it. Just think about it you are putting a engine in the car that it didint come with. Of course there is going to be small problems. But that is something you can take as a learinging exp. I did my 1st b swap in my 89 DX and had to do everything. But I now feel more comfortable messing with the car you learn ALOT about your car.
As far as getting a bad engine just look around and dont buy the 1st one you find look and ask others to tell you about good reliable places to get the engine from.

once you do the mpfi swap in that dx the actually motor swap will be cake.
