car is backfireing?

Default car is backfireing?

ok so i have a 94 civic ex and the only thing done to is that its lowered and has and intake on it....ive been noticeing lately that its backfireg maninly when i shift from 1-2 and 2-3 this just started to happen recently....i wonder what it could be

i have the same thing happening on my eg4, but it usually happens when i shift at high revs...would like to know also what's causing this

doesnt backfire happen when theres alot of back pressure???

last time i had a small exhaust leak and i would backfire when shifting aswell, fixed the leak and didnt backfire anymore..maybe that helps

i think your right about the exhaust leak haveing to do something with it..alittle while before this started to happen i poked some rust on my muffler and now theres a hole in it so i guess that my problem

yea..try to get that leak fixed and see if the backfire goes away..prob will..
