messed up my car tonight.. what did i do?
the following is an email i sent to the guy that normally does the work on my car:
Tonight while shifting from 1st to 2nd, (which I think was my hardest fastest best shift I've done in this car(yes i was racing)) everything started to shake. When I would push in the clutch to go into first it would make a whine like a fire truck was comming. I took out of and put back 1st several times to verify it was my car making this noise. It was. I threw on my hazzards and pulled over. A driver behind me said I got stuff over his windshield. In neutral, I had a constant 5k idle. Once I was at a stop with my hood open I started inspecting all the normal things. IACV, Fuel lines, eletrical plugs, oil leaks, ect. All the IACV and vaccume lines seemed to be in place. Although, something I've never seen before; my entire clutch fluid jug was knocked off. It was wedged behind the motor. Im guessing thats what was whining, and what I got over that guys window. now while driving there is a 3k idle, constant brake light (even when brake is down) NO CEL (thank god), a shakey clutch pedal, and a hard to push accelerator, and a VERY shakey motor.
Im guessing its either a busted mount, a busted traction bar (or at least whatever it was that only had the one bolt that you said would weaken over time, a broken axle, a missing vaccume line, or a grand combination of all of them.
What would you guess it it? Its still dark out, I wont get to check it til tomorrow in depth to see if anything is broken.
anyone have any ideas?

Shakey motor and high idle....ehh maybe you bent a valve.....the accelerator is hard to push? Take the intake off and check out the throttle body
the brake light means you don't have adequate fluid in the reservoir.
ps. hardest+fastest shift != best shift
I wouldn't be proud of pounding the **** outta my trans

Sounds to me like you did nudge a mount loose and in the means of doing that, pinched your throttle cable somewhere or bent it to where you can still accel but not fully release.. Also Ill find out what I cna about the brake light being constantly on.
Wow, you have another thread going on about how your car is not working good, and you are gorilla shifting your trans and race it.. Seriously, if my car is acting strange the slightest I dont drive it hard. Hope you learn this the hard way.
