Default Code 9

i belive its the tdc sensor in the dizzy on my 91 si hatch d16 . If so do i have to completly change out my dizzy

you could change out just the sensor itself in the distributor but that little thing is expensive,,,and what if the bearing in the distributor is causing the sensor to go bad? then it will make the new sensor you just installed go bad,,best thing to do is get a new or working used distributor..

yea i had a code 9. it ran fine for a day. next day it broke down on me. then i replaced the dizzy and when i pulled off the cap on the old one it was destroyed inside.


replace dizzy.
