Default Cheap Muffler For my CL that won't sound ricey?

Hey guys, Im sick of the stock exhaust sound but need to put my money towards my turbo project so I was wondering if there were any cheap mufflers on ebay or somewhere that sound half way decent? I don't want any high pitched, raspy ****, want somethign that sounds half way decent and deep, and that I can get cheap. THis is going to be put on a stock exhaust, I'll upgrade later when I have the cash, this is just temporary. Let me hear some ideas, thx

Well, since I predict you have a Chevy 350 in your 2009 CL with CVT transmission I would say go with Magnaflow.

In other words, let's start with what car you have.

pace setter has a good sounding exaughst, thats not to expensive. I have heard others diss em, but I personaly like it. that maybe because, of the P&P, headers, and high flow cat too.

I would have to say save your money until you can get a real catback as mixing stock piping with random aftermarket mufflers can lead to just about anything.

Once I go boost, I'm going to be getting a custom 3in exhaust anyways, this is just temporary. I was thinking maybe I should just get a cheap axleback to save me the trouble of bringing it somewhere to have it welded on. I don't know, I jsut don't want to sound like a riced out civic, so if it's going to sound raspy, it isn't even worth it to me.

I am not going to joke you at all BUT I must say that it may have sounded good TO YOU. Most people on Honda-Tech have a different taste than those with "WIDE BODY!! M3 tail light conversionEvo 3 front bumper black widow side and a custum rear bumper. evo cf hood WIDE BODY!!!!!" as quoted from your signature.

It COULD end up sounding good or not but it is hard to know.

I would save the money you're going to spend on some cheap muffler you don't even plan on having for a long time towards your turbo. That's just my 0.02. Good luck.
