Default muffler too loud

I put on my OBX catback a few weeks ago, and the tone sounds really good. Unfortunately, even with the silencer in, it is still too loud for me, attracts too much attention. I like the extra few horses it gave me, and i love the deep tone of it, but is there any way i can quiet it some more without sacrificing hp? any ideas are welcome. thanks in advance

Those do sound good. Everyone might think their cheap but they actually sound good. I have one. Very deep.

i have an ebay fart can (same quality as OBX)...and i just throw the silencer in to make it quieter...and it works...

unfortunately...the only method to make it any quieter is to add a resonator, as previously stated above...good luck

You will have to cut your catback... But it wont restrict exhaust flow much.

$400 for an OBX catback? Damn, not cheap. I wouldn't worry about "hurting" your exhaust...

go to a muffler shop, tell them you want a resonator to quiet down your exhaust, and they'll recommend some sizes for you. then they'll just chop up the pipe and weld in the resonator. shouldn't be too expensive.
