Okay the other day I was driving my car and pushed my break there was a weird sound everytime i pushed my break pedal past a certain point. I don't know if this relates but I also hear a click when i push clutch in. Anyone know what that is or whats causing it?

 

What kind of noise are you hearing?
What kind of car do you have?
Stock brakes?
Stock clutch?

 

2000 gsr about 88k miles
stock brakes with brake pads installed about a year ago
stock clutch

i don't know how to describe the noise but when i push the brakes past a certain point or when i'm almost to a stop it makes the noise

 

anyone?
cause on my first car around 90k, one day pushing in my clutch i heard a snapping sound and the clutch pedal never came back up.

 

same thing just happened to me a week ago might be ur throw out bearing if its when you press your clutch down making a winding noise. and when ur clutch pedel didnt come up you blew ur pressure plate a new clutch kit is around 120-160$
