my friend is fixing a 99 EX coupe (manual) and he thinks he needs a new ECU so he asked me to find out what one he needs and since its not my car and I'm tired I didn't feel like doing the research haha so if anyone knows I'd really appreciate it.

 

what the hell are his mods what motor would help alot

 

i have a p2p for sale

 

he needs to take it to somone that knows what the hell they are doing

 

The question is, why does he think he needs a new ECU?

 

no mods its all stock, its a d16 motor I havnt seen the car though and he dosnt know **** about **** so he dosnt know d16 what, but its whatever comes stock in the 99 ex coupe. I could look up the specs and research to find out but like I said its not my car and I'm tired so I was just seeing if anyone knew it off hand

 

I'm guessing the car your friend is working on didn't come with an ECU. He needs to order an OBD2B (99-00) P2P ECU if that's the case. He'll find it much, much cheaper to buy it used.

thank you, he didn't give me very much info to go off when he asked me to find out haha.

I got a P2P auto ecu and P2P manual ecu if you're interested.. both from 99-00 Civic Ex so OBD2b
