i have some kind of ticking sound coming from my head on the #4 cyl.side ..i khave no idea wut it could be ...it not overheating ,smokin,runnig differntly, going into boost weird,ect....theres just a tick....its a steady tick and it doesnt want to bog the motor down or nething it sjut a sound....maybe a lifter or something or a burnt valve...it weird never seen a car do this...and not run differntly .....

yeh valve adjustment is what id do first... if its still there it could b ur LMA

 

yea i was thinkin vavle adjustment ...my a buddy of myine thats works at a perf. shop said that it really doesnt sound like a vavle or nething...its weird b/c it doesnt act up or nething....im about just say screw it and put a motor i have lying around in...and just build this 1 later...

 

It could be a loud fuel injector. You could also need a valve adjustment.

 

the tick gets faster as i go up in the rpm bandand its not very noticable during idle

 

takes about 20 mins to do a valve adjustment... do one and see what happens

 

even though your friend said it doesnt sound like your valves....i say you just go ahead and do a valve adjustment anyway...the head on my motor was doing a ticking noice too on the intake cam, and would also go faster as i rev...did the valve adjustment and problem fixed..

 

when i take my spark plug wire out of my #4 cyl. it doesnt really bog down ....the #3 does alittle ...and the rest r normal ....but it doesnt feel like its running a cyl. low

 

hmm my motor has the same ordeal but it runs perfectly normal...i might have to do a valve adj

 

mine did it for a while when it was cold out. valve adjetment and better oil

 

i did a comp. test results r not very good......#4 cyl. 120psi #3cyl. 150psi #2cyl 210psi #1 cyl. 210 psi...i think i figured out something now...i think my car detonated and burnt the valves
