Hey, got a 90 civic Si with a ZC in it, turbo, full exhaust, the whole 9 yards.... when im drivin it down the road, its not smoking unless its cold, and when the car warms up, it wont smoke while driving, but if i am pullin up to a stop light, and take it outta gear to coast up to the light, and the smoke just engulfs me, and smells a little bit like smoke, and when im idling it will just smoke like hell, but when i take off, and get rollin down the road it quits. when im spoolin the turbo, it isnt even smokin, and youd think it would be.... i wanna say my turbos shot, but at the same time i dont cuz i dont wanna for out the money, if you guys could help me out, thatd be awesome!!!

You said the car is turbo charged?

You need to get it tuned if it hasnt been done yet. Driving a untuned turbo charged 10 miles is actually like driving a 1000 miles. Ger it tuned and tell the us the result.

 

i dont know if its tuned, i was told it was though, i just got the car last wkend

 

I would get it tuned right away because if its not tuned it will blow up.

 

its got a base-map tune, i am startin to think the turbo is blowd up, cuz theres some oil leakin onto my crossmember in my motor compartment, and a lil out the exhaust, so thats what ive come down too
