Default hooking up the cigarette adapter....help

brother recently purchased a 00 LS for a temporary DD. The previous owner said he unhooked the cigarette adapter b/c his friends would smoke in the car. he said unskrew some bolts and I just have to plug it back in. I was wondering how we can "plug it back in"?? Radar does no good just sitting in the glove compartment.

Pull the cigarette lighter panel and check the plug behind it. Also, check the fuses.

If you print that out, and go look in the car itll be a lot easier.
There are a few screws, and if you look hard enough you should be able to see them.

Pull the ashtray and remove the screws at the top and back of the panel. I think there were three screws. (I did this 10 years ago.)

There are two screws under the e-break under that little panal that pops right out. Unscrew those. Then there are two screws at the bottom back left of your armrest you need to uncrew. When this is done...you can pull out your armrest piece. Unscrew your shift ****(if you have one) . there are two screws on the bottom left and right side of your cigarette consol piece. Unscrew these and you should be able to pull out the piece where your cigarette thing is and connect it...you cant miss it. Then bam put it back the way you took it apart.
